After Her Teen Brother Went Missing, She Was Shocked To Find That He Wound Up In A Hospital After Being Hit By A Car

The family was eventually able to visit him in the ICU, though he had sustained serious injuries to his brain and one of his eyes.

Because his brain had begun swelling, doctors had also removed parts of his skull.

“My mom is a single mother with 3 young kids and I myself have a toddler,” Nathaniel’s sister shared through the family’s GoFundMe post.

“My brother needs someone with him 24hrs a day and it’s going to be very difficult for just us both trying to switch off and also take care of the other kids.”

The family received more difficult news when it became clear that the driver who hit Nathaniel could not help them.

They found his information through a police report, but there was a snag when they contacted his insurance.

It was invalid because it was not his car, which means there’s no coverage. Anything helps!” His mother, Angelica, shared in an update. She later added that “prayers are needed most of all.”
