Several days ago, her best friend sent her a super long text message letting her know that she was actually being cut from the wedding entirely.
She was shocked to get this text, and her best friend tried to say that the reason she was being excluded was that the groom wanted to not have as many groomsmen as initially decided.
So, her best friend had to make a cut, and she was it since her best friend hadn’t known her as long as the other bridesmaids.
“After all that we had been through she told me that she was no longer going to ask me to be in her wedding,” she said.
“I felt completely heartbroken but did not want to make it about me so I told her that I was really disappointed but I didn’t want to add any stress to her planning by a negative reaction.”
Her best friend insisted that she did not want the decision to cut her from the wedding to impact their friendship, but obviously, she can’t just ignore all of this.
She struggled with her best friend prioritizing a bridesmaid she had got into a blow-out fight with over her, simply because of the length of time they had been friends.
“I was there for her when after a month of knowing her, her and her current fiancé broke up in a huge fiasco, and I supported her through everything including their obvious reconciliation and now engagement,” she continued.
“I just feel so hurt and torn, and I don’t want to make this about me but I am seeing her post on social media with her now bridal party and they are posting on social media the boxes they got to be asked to be in her wedding and I just feel like nothing will be the same between us.”
She was the one who helped her best friend pick out those bridesmaid boxes, which makes it all so much worse.
