Her boyfriend insisted that he does think she is “beautiful” regardless of whether she has makeup on or not, before mentioning that he thought she was taking things too hard.
“He compared it to dressing up vs not; ie he’d think I look nice dressed up but doesn’t expect me to and that he still likes me when I’m not dressed up,” she said.
“I do beat myself up a lot, but I still can’t shake this feeling that I need to wear makeup for him to be attracted to me…”
Since this topic came up, her boyfriend has attempted to comfort her, but she still just feels so upset.
