She is concerned that men who do have bad qualities can successfully hide them in a relationship for years without being detected, and she does not want to end up in another bad situation.
“I have always valued love more than anything but I have deleted all my dating apps and truly see no reason to ever entertain a romantic relationship again that will inevitably become a one-sided lie,” she said.
She honestly believes that it’s better for her to be alone forever than to enter into another romantic relationship with a man, only to find out nothing is as it seems and the guy is more like a friend or business partner.
“To me, the pain of romantic love and attraction being one-sided is just not worth the social benefits of being in a relationship, and I am wondering if anyone else feels this way,” she continued.
She fears true, romantic style love is fake and can’t possibly exist for her.
