Her Ex-Husband Paid His Cousin To Murder Her, But Instead, Her Sister Was Murdered While Babysitting Her Three Children In Her House

“On September 19, 2017, Phelps and his girlfriend, Alexis Hale, drove from Spokane and met with Lewis, before traveling together to the area of the residence,” the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office explained in a statement.

“Phelps took Lewis home and returned to the residence a second time with Hale, where he opened fire on the sister of the intended target.”

“Phelps shot and killed 24-year-old Alisha Canales-McGuire who was at the house babysitting her sister’s three children while she was away on a business trip. The intended target of the murder-for-hire was Canales-McGuire’s sister, the ex-wife of Kevin Lewis.”

Authorities were able to obtain Alexis and Jerradon’s cellphone records, which proved that they had been to meet with Kevin before heading to Amanda’s home.

Just hours after the couple murdered Amanda’s sister Alisha, Jerradon posted multiple pictures of hundreds of dollars in cash to social media.

Later on, Alexis began bragging to multiple people that she knew that she had been hired to kill an individual in Snohomish County.

5 days ago, Kevin was convicted of aggravated first-degree murder and he was ultimately sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole.

Jerradon was sentenced to 31 and a half years after he pleaded guilty to premeditated first-degree murder, and Alexis was sentenced to just 15 years after she pleaded guilty to premeditated first-degree murder too.

In Alisha’s obituary, her family said that she got married to her husband Bradley in a ceremony on the beach just months before she was murdered.
