She Told A 15-Year-Old Girl That Her Wedding Is More Important Than This Girl’s Birthday Party

The day began alright, but she became worried when Emily asked her mother-in-law to have a sip of champagne at lunch.

She was concerned that they would get kicked out of the restaurant, but that didn’t happen.

But then when they went shopping for her wedding dress, Emily started also looking at dresses that she could wear for her birthday.

Emily came across a dress that she really did love, and her mother-in-law encouraged her to try it on.

She was really rubbed the wrong way by this since she felt the spotlight and attention should be on her as she shopped for her wedding dress.

Her mom was also there shopping with them, and her mom confronted her mother-in-law about it being “bad etiquette” for Emily to try on dresses.

Her mother-in-law was instantly shocked, and then Emily walked over to listen in on what they were talking about.

“Emily came out and heard the conversation and told MIL she didn’t do anything wrong and we were being “zillas,” she said.

“I nicely asked Emily to stay out of the adult conversation, and Emily told MIL that it isn’t even her fault her relationship with her son is strained because we are so nit picky and she was literally just trying on a dress.”

“I snapped at Emily that she has no idea what she is talking about and maybe when she is older she’ll have a clue, but a wedding is way way more important than some birthday party.”
