She Went On A First Date With An Older Guy Who Made Her Pay For Dinner

After they finished dinner and the check came, this guy let her pay for their entire dinner, which amounted to $70.

She definitely was turned off by this, especially since she knows he makes at least two and a half times what she does every year.

“This is extremely unattractive to me only because it was a first date,” she said. “He knew he would get me to pay for dinner and ordered MORE appetizers and lots of extras. He chose the place and initiated the date but I ended up paying.”

“Outside of this, the conversation was ok. Honestly, the monetary portion of the date threw me off and was pretty gross to me. I’ve never had that happen.”

She certainly doesn’t think it was right of him to pay $45 for their drinks and appetizer, then stick her with the far more expensive dinner bill, especially considering he was the one who invited her out to dinner in the first place.

“I find it pretty unattractive that he didn’t take the full bill,” she added. “It was the first date. He’s 32, bragged about his business through the whole dinner.”

“I’m traditional, I shouldn’t have had to touch my wallet. Very huge turn-off for me.”

Since their first date, this guy has sent her a text message, but she ignored it. She’s pretty positive she’s not interested in him anymore, and she doesn’t see a second date in their future.

Do you think she’s justified in no longer speaking to him after how their first date went?
