A few months later, they both went on a trip for business and they slept together. Suddenly, here she was having an affair with her boss.
Her boss said during their business trip that they should stick to only speaking together at work and that they should cut off their intertwined private lives.
“This lasted for a few days, we were a mess without each other, work wasn’t fun anymore,” she continued.
“I barely ate and sleeping was a nightmare. He told me afterward, that it was the case for him too.”
Although they did wind up back together with her boss cheating on his girlfriend with her yet again, they attempted to break things off for a second time this December.
One week after their break-up, they were again back together in secret, and they’ve stayed together since then.
She has no interest in finding a new job, and she has no way of putting the relationship with her boss behind her because she’s not interested in doing that.
A couple of days ago she decided to ask one of her friends at the company in management about what she should do, and she filled her friend in on the affair she was having with their boss.
Her friend had figured that she was sleeping with her boss but never confronted her or their boss about this.
It’s driving her crazy that her boss won’t commit to a serious relationship with her and leave his current girlfriend.
She does believe her boss wants to be with her over his girlfriend, but he feels too compelled to stay with his girlfriend since if he leaves her she might not have an opportunity to find someone else to have kids with since she’s in her 30s.
