She’s Refusing To Go On Her Friend’s Bachelorette Trip Because She’s Pretty Positive Her Mother-In-Law Will Be There

She did ask Sally if it was possible for the bachelorette party to be held somewhere else, and although Sally considered it, Sally’s first choice is the casino and she really isn’t interested in changing her plan.

After Sally made it known the casino is top pick, she told Sally that she would not be able to go to the bachelorette party then.

Sally was furious and accused her of being ridiculous. Sally also got offended over the fact that when she had her wedding 3 years ago, Sally was her maid of honor and did everything possible to make sure she had a special day.

Sally also went nuts and made sure that she had a very luxurious bachelorette party that was exactly what she wanted.

Sally thinks she needs to just “suck it up for one night” and go on the bachelorette trip, despite her concerns about running into her mother-in-law.

“The other bridesmaids have told me that I’m being unreasonable,” she said. “Most of them were in my wedding and reminded me of all the stuff Sally did for me, including spending a ton of money and answering all the questions for the guests.”

“I feel that shouldn’t be thrown in my face right now. Sally didn’t have to do any of that, she chose to.”

She’s left wondering if her decision to skip Sally’s bachelorette party makes her a jerk.

How would you handle this situation?
