After she graduated high school and went to college, she did everything possible to not have to go back home so she could avoid being around her sister’s service dog.
“My mother is getting married again in April,” she said. “She invited me and my sister. I was surprised she wanted to me to go since she said she was keeping it small but she said she really wanted me there.”
“However, my sister and her dog are going to be there so I politely declined and I made plans for that day.”
Understandably, her mom is very upset with her for refusing to go to the wedding because her sister will be there with her service dog.
Her mom thinks that she is not acting rationally and that she should suck up the side effects and take allergy meds so she can be there on her special day.
“I don’t think I am because I don’t want to go and don’t think I should have to take medicine to be at the wedding of someone who doesn’t care about my medical needs but she thinks I should just suck it up,” she continued.
Her entire family is not on her side and thinks that she is being absurd over this. Her family also believes she intentionally trying to make her mom upset over refusing to go to the wedding.
