Dexter would need to undergo a procedure that cost approximately $9,000 to correct his legs, or he would undoubtedly be in pain for the rest of his life.
So instead, vets hope to go one leg at a time and observe the surgeries’ outcomes.
His owner attached screenshots of his bills from Texas A&M University’s veterinary hospital and asked for support for Dexter; without medical attention, he will not be able to run or jump without pain ever again.
Thankfully many donors have contributed to the GoFundMe, and Wednesday and Dexter are less than $1,000 from reaching their goal. You can read their story here.
