She Adopted Her Dog Last Valentine’s Day And He Was Just Diagnosed With Wobblers Syndrome

Vique has started a GoFundMe page for Gussy Bear to avoid placing his entire medical bill on a credit card and hopefully raise money to provide a longer and healthier life for her special companion.

With 168 donations, the community has raised over $9,000!

Since this surgery is very intensive and requires around-the-clock care and attention, Vique has set a goal of $15,000 for this fundraiser.

“It’s so important to me, however, that no one gives beyond their means. Whether you are able or willing to give $5 or $50, or whatever makes sense to you – it’s important to me that it’s not going to go on YOUR credit card rather than mine, if that makes sense? But if anyone is willing to skip a dinner out, or a cup of coffee, to add a contribution, we will happily accept that kindness.”

She recently gave us an update on Gus’ procedure. With a five-hour surgery, Dr. Gorji is very pleased with everything went. He is now sitting up on his own, eating 3 meals a day, and even rolling over!

Vique couldn’t have said it any better. If you can spare a cup of coffee, $5 means more than most. If you are willing and able to donate, anything along the way helps, even if you share his GoFundMe page!
