Her boyfriend decided to propose to her with a ring he claimed to be custom-made by his friend, who is a jeweler and the ring was oversized in many ways, a big rock that did not fit her at all.
While her boyfriend is perfect for her, he does not do well with the romantic side of things. This definitely explains his proposal.
So, she decided to turn him down and let him know that she loves him dearly but she felt that the way he proposed to her really robbed her of her dream proposal.
Fast forward to 6 months later, and there is still no planning to move forward in the way she wants him to.
