The Story Of Sweet 6-Month-Old Karou Is Heartbreaking But May Have A Happy Ending

The veterinary assistant that first encountered Karou wanted to help keep him alive. “I work in an emergency hospital and see tragic cases every day; Karou’s has left a mark on my heart. He is only six months old and has a whole life he could live – complete with running and exploring should he receive this knee surgery.”

“Karou never asked to be abused or neglected yet has remained kind and gentle. Although he is in pain, he has not snapped or attempted to bite any of our coworkers. This speaks to his outstanding temperament and the potential he holds to be a fantastic dog.”

She created a GoFundMe campaign to help Karou pull through here.

Author’s Note: Why do people do this? This dog is a six-month-old puppy whose legs were broken. The vets determined it was a result of someone intentionally doing this because it was highly unlikely Karou would have broken both of his knees the same way at the same time.

The original owners should face legal consequences for their actions or inactions. What is wrong with people? I hope this sweet pup gets his surgery and lives a very long, happy life with someone that loves and cherishes him. No animal deserves to suffer.
