This Dog Named Duncan Has Been Diagnosed With A Severe Condition Called AIHA

Duncan continued to receive all sorts of treatment, including blood transfusions to get his red blood cell count back up.

At the end of March, Mark and his family were able to take Duncan home after his vitals, and red blood cell count had risen.

Between the day they brought him to the hospital, and the day they brought him home, Mark and his family were billed over $7,000.

As of April 22nd, Duncan is still home, where he is being given the proper medications to help him heal.

He also makes frequent visits to the vet for tests and examinations. He is currently considered to be in remission with his AIHA. Yay Duncan!

“We have approximately eight more weeks of treatment to be sure, but his blood is holding, and he is continuing to get better,” writes Mark.
