As of March 29, Ferdia had one of his back legs amputated due to the infected wounds. Lisa explained that if he had not amputated his leg, Ferdia could develop sepsis.
Daniel and Lisa are now asking the community to help secure Ferdia’s medical funds so he could receive even better and complete care after his surgery. Their goal was $2000 and has reached $1570 so far.
