She really was starting to like him before he dumped that on her, and she was thrilled for their first date.
“I decided that if he was going to be this bent out of shape about me asking for what I felt like was a simple change of location and had a good reason for it, then he was probably not a good match, so I told him so, wished him luck in finding a girl who would be more willing to go with his plans, and left the conversation alone,” she said.
She put her phone down so that she could spend time with her grandpa, who was in the hospital, and didn’t really expect a reply.
When she returned from the hospital, she noticed that this guy sent her another message changing his mind once again about their date.
He said he actually would like to go out on the first date with her after all, and asked if their first date could be back on.
At first, she wasn’t sure what to do. She thought about agreeing to go back on the date with him, but then she decided against this.
In the end, she blocked him and deleted him, as she didn’t want to waste her time on someone who clearly wasn’t willing to compromise on something so small as picking a new location for their date.
If he wasn’t ok with meeting her halfway on such an insignificant issue, she felt that didn’t bode well for a future with him.
Would you have given this guy another chance if you were her?
