Her mom and sister claim that “no one is really going to see it” underneath the cap and gown and they do not want to have to go out and buy a different dress since there’s a chance her sister won’t find a dress that she loves as much.
“I told them it doesn’t matter because it is my dress,” she said. “They said that I’m overreacting too much and it’s just a dress.”
Since clearly this is still a touchy subject for her family, she’s wondering if she’s doing something wrong by declining to let her sister borrow her graduation dress.
