His Wife Is Having Their First Child Next Month So He’s Not Getting Her Anything For Mother’s Day Because He Doesn’t Think She’s A Mom Yet

“If people want to unexpectedly gift others for holidays they don’t technically fit in that’s fine, but to expect it seems unreasonable.”

He pretty much already made up his mind that he will not be getting his wife a gift for Mother’s Day at all, just because he also figures it would also “cheapen” the experience of celebrating this day, and since his wife started getting too demanding about the present.

Mother’s Day is a big milestone to be able to celebrate, and he wants their baby to actually be there for it.

Do you think he should cave and get her the hairdryer as a Mother’s Day present, or do you think he should wait until their baby is here next year to get her something?
