His Wife Wouldn’t Buy His Daughter A Pair Of Earrings, So He Decided To Separate Their Finances And He’s Willing To End Their Marriage Over This

Amy is a pretty forgetful person and she constantly is leaving her belongings around the house, which his wife is quick to punish Amy for.

A day ago, this dad was at home relaxing while his wife took Pen and Amy to purchase Mother’s Day presents for his mother-in-law.

At 5 that night, his daughter Pen returned home and told him something that he found extremely upsetting.

“Around 5 pm my daughter came to my room and said that my wife bought Amy a necklace and when she asked for a pair of earrings she loved, my wife refused because the night before she stayed up until late watching Netflix when she knows she can’t do it,” he said.

“This isn’t the first time my wife reuses to buy my daughter things and honestly, it boils my blood, my daughter is a really good kid, and I work hard to make sure my family has every or most of the things they want just for my wife to tell them ”no” because they are kids being kids.”

As soon as he saw his wife that night, he confronted her, saying her parenting is terrible and he’s not standing for it anymore.

He also insisted that it wasn’t right of her to buy Amy something and refuse to let Pen have something too.

He asked his wife to go to therapy with him so they can confront this issue head-on and come up with a solution.

Finally, he let his wife know that he would be separating their finances and no longer keeping a joint bank account for them to pull money out of.

He did fully intend to have an account for emergency funds, but that was it. What this means is that his wife is going to have to foot half of their utility bills and a couple of the rest of their bills.

His wife really doesn’t pay for anything and uses her money to save to send Amy to college or do “fun” things with.
