She Went On A Few Wonderful Dates With A Guy Before Finding Out That He Lied About His Age By A Whole Decade

Does he like women for who they are, or what they look like and can give to him? She’s also afraid this might mean that he won’t be as attracted to her as she gets up there in age herself.

She feels safe with this guy, and she’s kind of falling for him, but she can definitely see some red flags right now.

“On the other hand, I’m trying to interpret what lying about his age on a dating app could mean for the future or for his general disposition around boundaries,” she said.

“Age filters are, after all, a boundary women put in place to ensure they are dating within a range they are comfortable with.”

She wants to find a guy she can be partners with and considering that this guy is 16 years older than her that gives her pause.

“A 16-year age gap seems big for later in life as I don’t want to be 60 and active with a partner who is unable to do things,” she continued.

“My last partner lied a lot and disregarded boundaries, so I hold honesty and boundaries in high regard.”

Do you think she should dump this guy over lying about his age, or should she keep seeing him?
