Pretty recently, her mom and dad learned that she’s dating her 40-year-old former high school coach, and they’re furious with her.
They did not take the news of her relationship well, and they’re already looking into filing some complaints with the board of her high school.
They also have threatened to call the police on her old coach, and they truly believe that her coach lured her into a relationship though she’s too innocent to understand that.
She thinks that her parents are being way too over the top, and her coach was always appropriate towards her when she was a high school student.
“My fear is they’re going to make some public accusation against him and ruin his reputation and possibly his job because public opinion never really waits for facts,” she said.
She’s wondering how she can get her mom and dad on her side.
