This Family Already Maxed Out Their Credit Cards Paying For Their Child’s Medical Bills, And Now Their Rescue Puppy Needs Open Chest Surgery

Unfortunately, during the development of this congenital disease, something went wrong, which caused Midge’s esophagus to become trapped by vessels at the base of her heart. The vet compared this situation to a kinked garden hose.

To make matters worse, every meal Midge eats stretches out the muscles within her esophagus, and this will, unfortunately, cause severe damage to her esophagus beyond repair.

With all of this in mind, Midge needs open chest surgery, which is $7,000. As much as the family would do anything to ensure this happens, they are now reaching out for help as the medical bills must be paid upfront.

With every passing day, Midge is at high risk for aspirating and irreplaceable stretching of her esophagus, which will ultimately lead to death if the surgery is not carried out.
