Poor Casey’s troubles didn’t end there. She ended up having an allergic reaction to her third set of antibiotics.
She had a fever of 103 degrees and had red, swollen patches all over her skin. Casey then was told that she had mono!
Casey had racked up a $1,100 bill at the emergency room before heading home. When she updated her boyfriend, she got the most bizarre response.
“He called me and asked if we were ‘still doing this,’ and then unfriended me on everything,” Casey concluded. “We’ve never spoken again.”
Some TikTok users were in total shock after listening to Casey’s story, but some had actually gone through something similar.
“I dated a strep carrier, and I literally was always sick,” commented one user. “My mom made me break up with him because we couldn’t afford the doctor bills.”
“Good, you got rid of two problems,” commented another user.
