Since this kind woman chose to return the cash to the family who had lost their loved one, they graciously returned her kind gesture by giving her $2,200 of the $36,000 to cover the brand new fridge the woman had planned on purchasing.
Unfortunately for us, the mystery behind the cash will forever remain unknown. The family has no idea why their deceased loved one was storing such a large amount of money in their couch cushions.
Overall it is great to see how truly humble someone can be. The woman received something for free, found an amazing amount of money, and so humbling returned it to the family.
While she was not expecting any money in return from the family, she is genuinely grateful for this moment in time.
