She Revealed To Her Niece The Truth About Her Parents And Her Family Is Furious With Her For Not Keeping The Secret
A 35-year-old woman sadly lost her older sister Kim about 16 years ago after Kim became sick with cancer.
Before Kim passed away, she gave birth to a little girl named Laura, who was not even 2-years-old at the time Kim died.
Laura is all grown up and 18-years-old, and she recently revealed to Laura the truth about her parents.
Just a year after Kim passed away, her other sister Jane started dating Laura’s dad, Tom. Jane and Tom quickly got engaged and their entire family was shocked.
She wasn’t just surprised to hear about Jane and Tom’s new relationship; she was sick to her stomach about it.
The timeline to her did not add up, and it did seem that Jane and Tom were together while Kim was still alive and with Tom.
“Jane and Tom explained that this wasn’t something that they planned, but there was no cheating and knew that Kim would want them to be happy,” she explained.
“Convenient since she’s, you know, dead. I did not attend the wedding and was upset at how everyone else was so accepting of the relationship, but the thing that hurt me the most was how Jane and Tom intended to completely erase Kim from Laura’s life.”
“She was barely 2 when Kim died, and they decided it would be better if Laura thought Jane was her mother in every sense of the word after the adoption was finalized.”

Tom trashed everything that pointed to him and Kim being together, and then he asked his family to pretend it never happened and keep the truth from Laura.
Jane figured her side of the family would also be on board with lying to Laura, and she was the only person who didn’t go along with the plan.
Jane and Tom proceeded to keep Laura out of her life, and it made her feel terrible.
“It hurt but when I thought about all those times Kim cried knowing that she wouldn’t live long enough to see Laura grow up there was just no way I could honor the lie,” she said.
“They even had Laura’s name legally changed to something that Jane liked as Kim picked out Laura’s first name.”
She pulled away from her loved ones as the years went by, and her mom and dad kept on attempting to get her to put down her issues with Jane.
She wasn’t alright with overlooking Jane’s willingness to wipe Kim off the face of the earth, so she stayed away.
Laura was aware of her as Laura grew up, but she had never spoken to Laura until recently. Laura found her on social media, wanting to talk to her about a career path that she actually is in.
From there, she chatted with Laura occasionally, and then Laura wanted to know why she had kept herself away from the family.
She gave Laura an answer that wouldn’t reveal the truth to her, but Laura caught on to the fact that there was more to unpack there.
She then began video calling with Laura and on one call, she couldn’t help but own up to the enormous secret that everyone had been keeping about Laura’s parents.
“Before Kim died she and I made a series of videos for Laura to watch at her big moments and I told her that if she ever wanted to watch any of them I’d send them,” she continued.
“Laura asked me to send some and then I heard nothing from her for days.”
Right after Laura went quiet, she received a phone call from Tom and Jane, and they were beside themselves.
Tom and Jane accused her of destroying their picture-perfect little family. It turns out that as soon as Laura saw the videos that Kim had made for her, she went right to Tom and Jane to get the truth from them too.
It seems that Tom and Jane had no choice but to finally admit what they had done to Laura’s face, and she moved right out of the house after that.
Now, Tom and Jane aren’t the only ones who are furious with her; all their loved ones are too.
