A Groom Had To Scramble To Reorder His Fiancée’s Wedding Dress After Her Grandmother Was Accidentally Buried In It

About two weeks later, the groom, the bride’s brother, and her mother all realized what had happened. That was when the groom desperately called Kasia for help.

“This groom called me today, frantic as hell, practically crying. ‘Can you help me? My bride bought her dress with you last year. I understand that she picked it up, but I need to reorder it,'” she said in a now-viral TikTok.

Kasia explained how she could, of course, reorder it but was totally confused. Why was the groom calling? Was he digging for information?

While trying to be helpful, the boutique owner explained that new alterations might not be a possibility due to time constraints. Their wedding was only five months away. Instead, the groom cut Kasia off.

“Alterations are not an option. There is nothing to alter. I need to know if you can reorder this dress,” the groom said.

Kasia did her best and reached out to the manufacturer of the gown. But, she ultimately had to tell the groom that the same dress was not an option anymore. Then, he broke down, and the bride’s brother explained the entire situation.

“Being guys, they did not know better. They didn’t know there were multiple wedding dresses in the closet. So the guys took her dress and dropped it off at the funeral home,” Kasia explained to her followers.

She tried to come up with other options for the family, who did not want to tell the bride what happened. A few days later, Kasia actually set up a conference call with them to lay out their choices.

“I called the groom, the bride’s mother, and the bride’s brother. Everyone was on pins and needles, freaking out. They all actually avoided the bride for two days until they heard from me,” Kasia explained.

“So I gave them all of these ideas of things that we could do, but I told them that in the end, she may still possibly find out. So they made the executive decision to come clean, and I am actually really glad they decided to do that,” she continued.

Apparently, the three made a plan with the bride to go shopping the following weekend. And if the bride “did not kill them,” as Kasia put it, they planned to break the wedding dress news then.
