“But I had to rely on the kindness of a stranger for that.”
This leads us to today; she actually won the lottery. After paying taxes on the money, she has a bit less than $100,000.
She’s planning on using all of that money to move out of her mom and dad’s house, and she has no intention of sharing any of her money with her boyfriend.
All throughout their relationship, she did mention to her boyfriend that if she managed to get enough money saved to leave home, she would let him move in with her, though now she wants to change her mind.
“But now that it’s actually real, I am starting to look back at how this person never made any sacrifice for me, that a stranger was willing to, and so now I’ve changed my mind about what I told my boyfriend,” she said.
She’s left wondering how to tell her boyfriend that she won the lottery and how to tell him that she has no interest in letting him live with her anymore.
How do you think she can break this news to him?
