They Were At Their Son’s Lacrosse Game When Their House Got Struck By Lighning And Went Up In Flames

The fire has left the family in great need, which is why Ruth organized this fundraiser. Any contributions will aid them in the process during this extremely difficult and challenging time.

The family understands that no amount of money will ever replace their home and what has been lost; however, your donation will help assist them during the process of starting over.

Ruth Jean-Pierre would like to note that all contributions to the fundraiser will go directly to the Adele-Hegbe family to help them rebuild their lives.

As of 6/28/2022, the family has been able to resume their lives partially. Dr. Adele is now with her patients, Joshua is back to playing sports, Kayla is carrying on with her online studies, Noah is visiting friends and smiling once again, and Adjoavi remains busy preparing for the next chapter.

Ruth leaves us with a great reminder, “We are reminded that life, while imperfect and frequently hard, can still be good.”
