“She looked completely different from what I’m used to and looked like a middle-aged woman. I nearly called the police as I thought someone broke into our house, but Kate stopped me.”
“However, Emily already heard me saying “who the hell are you” and is aware I have not recognized her.”
He did say sorry to Emily, and he did let her know why he did not recognize her. He ended up mentioning to Emily that she just looks like a completely different person without her makeup on, so that’s why he couldn’t tell that it was her that morning.
When he said that, Emily and Kate called him a jerk. He honestly can’t see how that was mean of him when he was just telling the truth.
Since then, Emily and Kate kept on being upset with him. Meanwhile, Emily and Kate’s parents agree with him, so he’s curious if he’s really wrong.
