“But, you are not half as hard-working or conscientious as your sister, which is why I am probably always going to be bragging about her more than you,” he continued.
Then, he even suggested that his son should start applying himself in life the way he plays video games and Dungeons & Dragons. Yikes!
Since making the brutally honest comment, his wife has, understandably, been really pissed off at him. His wife believes what he did was completely hurtful and utterly unnecessary.
Nonetheless, he thinks that he finally delivered the wake-up call his son needed to get a move on in life.
But, his wife’s anguish has still left him wondering if his well-intentioned response went way too far.
