She even listed off all of the ingredients she refuses to eat– including rats, dogs, cats, opossums, and more– and included deer in that category.
Eventually, the woman did calm down, the man ended up apologizing, and the dinner party continued despite the awkwardness.
Still, though, he has been left utterly confused about her outburst.
“I did not think deer was that strange. And I did mention to other guests that it was deer just during a conversation. Everyone just acted like that sounded good,” the man recalled.
