He doesn’t think his wife should get a pass on this one, and he has never had a reason before this incident not to trust her.
“But… I’m hurt,” he said. “I’m angry. I’m sad. I don’t want to end my 5-year marriage over this. But I don’t want to “let her off the hook” either.”
“I want her to know that it’s not okay. I want her to feel it. But I don’t know how to do that short of telling her it’s over, and she ruined it.”
Right after his wife revealed what happened on her trip, he went out to a bar and ended up crying while he was drinking.
A lovely bartender poured him a shot for free, and when he did eventually return home to his wife, he tried his best to let her know that he feels upset and isn’t sure where to go from here.
He’s left wondering what to do and how he should handle things moving forward.
