She Does Not Want To Send Her Cousin A Wedding Gift After She Never Got An Invite To Their Ceremony

Yet, she still did not get an invitation to Ted and Maddy’s wedding.

She apparently knew that the couple was engaged but had no clue when or where they were actually tying the knot.

Then, last week, one of her family members asked what she was getting them as a wedding gift.

It eventually came out that the rest of her family all received wedding invitations– for a ceremony happening really soon– and she never got one.

She was understandably frustrated and brought it up to her dad. She also reiterated how jerky it is that she had to move her entire graduation party around for Maddy, yet she did not even get an invite to the wedding.

Nonetheless, her father did not see any problem with the lack of invitation.

“That was a graduation party, and this is a wedding. Now that you know about it, just be a bigger person and get a gift. Don’t be petty,” her father told her.

Now, though, she has no intention of buying the couple a gift. Moreover, she never wants to invite Ted to another event she hosts again.

She has no clue why she was intentionally left out and does not think it is fair for her to spend money on a wedding gift for a union that she is not even a part of.

“To me, it’s like having a birthday party and expecting someone I did not invite to send me a birthday present,” she reasoned.

Still, she is not sure if following through with her own beliefs and not sending a gift would be a really rude thing to do.
