She Made Her Son Fly Economy While Their Nanny Flew First Class Because He Was Acting Like A Total Brat

Although once Matt reached the age of sixteen, she and her husband had an idea to help humble their son a bit.

They decided that he would get a part-time job in order to begin taking some financial responsibility for himself. And for a short time, it worked.

“That seemed to give him a reality check as we cut our support on his perks,” she said.

Nonetheless, following the pandemic, her son’s entitled behavior returned– particularly when she tried to plan a post-pandemic vacation and decided to bring her nanny, May, along.

Essentially, she decided that instead of giving May an at-home break while they vacationed, she would bring May and May’s son along.

Moreover, she would pay for all of her expenses– allowing May to just vacation with her own son.

But then, one day, while she was planning to buy everyone’s plane tickets, Matt overheard his mother’s plans for May and her son’s seats.

“I was planning to pay for a first class seat for May and her son for her to enjoy the flight as we did,” she said.

“Then, he asked why we should do this– and that since we were already paying for everything, we should let May fly economy if she could not afford first class.”

Matt’s rude comment completely shocked her, and she told her son how impolite it was to say that.

She also emphasized how important May is to their family after putting up with all of the children and said it was the least their family could do for her.
