In turn, Tyarra has been considered an “endangered missing person” for six and a half years now. Her case is currently being handled by the Crimes Against Persons Squad of the Greensboro Police Department, and her family has continued fighting for answers.
The Williams family even created a Facebook page entitled “Help Find Tyarra Cacique Williams,” which now has over twenty-three thousand followers. There, her loved ones have shared heartfelt messages about Tyarra and pleaded for help from community members.
“Today is your twenty-sixth birthday. It is so hard to believe that the last time I laid eyes on you, spoke to you, expressed my love to you, you were only nineteen,” Danielle began in a post on Tyarra’s birthday this past June.
“We have not given up on the mission to find you, to find answers, and to find somebody who truly knows something… Tyarra, we love you, and we are still trying!”
Tyarra is a Black woman standing five feet and five inches tall, and at the time of her disappearance, she weighed one hundred and twenty pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, black North Face jacket, dark blue Levi’s jeans, and a blue knit cap.
