He Discovered That His Wife Has Secretly Been Getting Thousands Of Dollars A Month From Her Ex, And She’s Claiming It’s Just Because They’re Friends
A 35-year-old guy has been married to his 33-year-old wife for 3 years, and they have a 4-year-old son together.
One week ago, his wife opened up an email that seemed to be from their bank asking her to confirm a weird transaction.
As soon as she clicked on the link, she figured out that their iPad had been hacked, and this was a phishing scam.
He’s not really good with technology, and neither is his wife, so he called his brother to come to help them and get to the bottom of everything.
His brother helped to clear their iPad of any malware, and then his brother left. He was sitting there alone, and he thought to himself that it could be a good idea to run through all of the apps on their iPad that had access to money and their bank accounts just to ensure nobody had gained access to that.
As he was looking through everything, he found a Western Union app on their iPad that was sort of hidden.
He figured this had to be installed by a hacker, so he opened up the app, which led him to a login screen. As he tried to type in his email address and then his wife’s email address, his wife’s email address instantly seemed to be connected to the app.
After guessing her password, he was logged in and could see that his wife was getting thousands of dollars from someone.
“I was mind boggled to see the transaction history that included several thousand dollars, all of which happened before this whole hacking debacle,” he explained.

“It showed that she was getting $2,000 at the beginning and the middle of the month, all from the same sender.”
As he dug further back, he found out that the person sending his wife money was none other than her ex-boyfriend, whom she had dated from the time she was 24-years-old until she was 28.
His wife was accepting money from her ex and then running it through her own business, claiming it was money she made as a graphic designer.
“He is 49-years-old and they broke up because he got divorced young and did not want to marry again, and she realized he wasn’t changing his mind,” he said.
“They never had any kids or properties together, nor was he cheating on somebody with her/ keeping their relationship a secret, so it is honestly beyond me why he would need to have any more contact with her, especially now that he lives in Europe half of the time.”
He took this information straight to his wife, who wasn’t exactly forthcoming about why her ex was sending her this kind of money.
His wife eventually stated that her ex was sending her money because she had revealed that their financial situation wasn’t so great.
He owns a business that is losing money, which his wife told her ex. His wife insisted that if he reached out to her ex to ask about why she was receiving so much money, her ex would confirm what she said.
Well, he did try to reach out to her ex, and he didn’t want to reply to him at all, which furthered his suspicions.
He let his wife know that he would get rid of his business and get a new job so that they could have more money consistently coming in, and then he made it clear to her that he wanted her to stop taking money from her ex.
“But the more that I am left alone to think, the more that I cannot imagine sleeping in the same bed with my wife anymore,” he continued.
“I do not know if I can ever trust her again because she will not say anything except that she did not sleep with him and that an ex would just give her money just to be his friend. In addition, I am getting the most dread-filled thoughts about the possibility that my son is not mine.”
He and his wife’s ex have the exact same eye color and hair color, so his son very well might not be his as he assumed.
He knows if he asks his wife for a paternity test, she will lose it on him, so he has not asked her that yet and isn’t sure he wants to.
“I am living in misery,” he concluded. “I thought I had a loving marriage to an honest woman. Even though we argued about the fact that she wanted our lifestyle to stay the same while I was building up my business, I thought we were communicating with each other.”
“I also thought that the money she put in our accounts was from her graphic design business finally getting clients, but that was wrong as well.”
Do you think he should start by asking his wife for a paternity test?
