She doesn’t really know a single person who doesn’t like pizza, but well, now she knows two people: her boyfriend’s parents.
“He and my boyfriend’s mom got up and said they wanted to leave,” she said. “My boyfriend tried to get them to stay and take it easy, but they left eventually.”
“He blew up, saying I messed up by serving them pizza and “insulting them indirectly,” he told me to call and apologize, but I said no and that I didn’t have time to cook anything after they showed up unexpectedly.”
Her boyfriend only got angrier with her from there, and she figured it was best to drop it and hope he calmed himself down.
Her boyfriend wouldn’t calm down, though, and he insisted that she needs to come up with an apology to his mom and dad for being so rude.
She really couldn’t feel more puzzled than she already is about how the pizza ended up being so offensive.
She’s left wondering if it really was so insulting of her to serve her boyfriend’s parents pizza for dinner.
Can you see why they were upset about this, or do you think her boyfriend’s parents are ridiculous?
