Her fiancé only declined to father his friend’s child because his friend wouldn’t want him to be involved in the child’s life at all, and that’s the opposite of what he would desire.
“My partner said ‘no’ because he would want to be involved in the child’s life,” she said.
“He didn’t at any point say ‘no’ because he has a partner or ‘no’ because that’s a weird thing to ask. He recognizes that as an oversight, but I am cut up that I wasn’t mentioned at all.”
Adding insult to injury, her fiancé used to have a major crush on this friend of his. He had asked this woman out a few years back and got turned down.
Her fiancé promises that he no longer has feelings for his friend, but that didn’t make her feel any better about the situation.
She’s left feeling outraged and like she’s nothing more than an afterthought. If your fiancé handled this situation in the same way, would you even still want to be engaged?
