Honey Boo Boo Star Alana Thompson Hopes To Shed Her Television Persona And Reclaim Her Health Via Weight Loss Surgery

And now, Alana also reportedly has plans to undergo weight loss surgery in order to reclaim her health.

Her manager, Gina Rodriquez, revealed that following her seventeenth birthday, Alana would be traveling to Queens, New York, to undergo a suture sculpt endoscopic sleeve.

Steven Batash, a well-renowned weight loss doctor, will be performing the procedure– which will cost about thirteen thousand dollars.

Gina said that Alana had been trying to diet and exercise over the last year but did not attain the results she had hoped for. In turn, Alana was reportedly worried that her weight management problem was genetic and hoped to reclaim her health via the surgery.

Alana is currently two hundred and seventy-five pounds and hopes to drop down to one hundred and fifty. And her sister and guardian, Pumpkin, is totally supportive.

Moreover, Alana’s boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, is also apparently undergoing the same procedure alongside Alana. The couple said they want to get healthy together, and this is their next step in that journey.
