“Chrissy announced that she is expecting and having a baby boy. The thing is…he never mentioned a boyfriend until she said, Jack.”
It turns out that Chrissy began dating Jack 3 months before her relationship with Jack officially ended. She obviously wasn’t happy for Chrissy, but her grandparents sure were when Chrissy made the announcement to their family.
Her entire family turned on her and accused her of being envious of Chrissy, so she left and went home.
“I’m trying not to beat myself up; I really am considering an ultimatum for my grandparents. Be in my cousin’s/her baby’s life, and I stop paying for their medicine, never aid in bills (so they’d be homeless), and cut contact or cut my cousin off and keep everything,” she continued.
“It’s selfish of me to have these thoughts, but I can’t even tolerate Crissy having everything while I seem to be thrown in the dark.”
She added that over the last couple of years, her grandparents have acknowledged the mistakes they made when she was little, and they have really made an effort to grow closer to her. She’s close to her grandparents now, but if she issues this ultimatum to them, it’s something that will rip their family apart.
