Eventually, she did confront her boyfriend about his messages to his best friend, and they got into a disagreement for an entire week.
Her boyfriend did end up sobbing and saying sorry, but it did not make her feel better at all.
She really believes he is her soulmate, so she will regret it forever if she chooses to dump him over what he said in confidence to his best friend.
Still, she’s wondering if her boyfriend qualifies as just “young and curious,” and that’s why he said what he did in the first place.
