“Until this last weekend when he and I had a few too many drinks and ended up kissing. I told my roommate about it the next morning, and she said that although she did feel uncomfortable about the situation, it was otherwise fine.
“A few days later, he comes over to our house. We hang out in my room, and he ends up sleeping over.”
Her roommate began ignoring some messages she sent to her, so she knew something had to be up.
She attempted to speak to her roommate, and her roommate revealed that she really was not accepting of her starting a thing with Callum.
“She told me that she was hurt that I even went for him after seeing how she had been upset about him,” she continued.
“And that she didn’t want me to stop seeing him because of her but out of ‘my own volition.’ I have only just started seeing Callum, so I am not sure how things with him will progress, but I also don’t want to hurt my roommate in the process.”
“I do think that there is potential between him and me, though, and I have started to get feelings.”
She doesn’t think it’s right for her roommate to try to get her to stop seeing Callum, but she is concerned that if she keeps seeing him, things with her roommate will go south.
Do you think she should pick Callum or her roommate?
