So, ever since then, all of the aunts and uncles have called her husband to say it was the right thing to do. But, she really cannot fathom taking in the children.
First of all, her house is only a three-bedroom, without a basement, and they already have three kids. Plus, they cannot afford to buy a larger house.
Nevertheless, Amy has apparently been gunning for her and her husband to take the kids, so they do not have to.
Apparently, Amy claims that they and their husband are “child-free,” so they do not know how to raise children. Plus, Amy said that if they decide not to, she would be responsible for their divorce.
“Amy also says that since my husband and I work, we have the extra income and that we already have three kids, so what’s two more? But, the income part is not true,” she vented.
“We are tight on money, too. Also, Amy is married to a big four consultant who makes more than both my husband and I combined. So, I don’t understand why they can’t take the kids and learn to parent.”
Well, according to her, it’s not that Amy could not learn to parent; it just seems like they do not want to.
More specifically, whenever Amy’s husband travels for work, they apparently tag along just for fun, and they do not want to give that up.
Anyway, a few days ago, her in-laws ended up calling again and begging her to take the kids. And her husband was honestly thinking about caving before she told him no.
She claims that she is already working overtime just to ensure that her own children have a college fund.
At the same time, she shared her belief that Amy needs to step up to the plate and give up traveling for once.
