“Apparently, she relies on my alarm going off in the morning rather than setting one herself,” she said.
“I had no idea that was the case and still don’t really understand why she doesn’t have her own alarm set.”
“I tried to apologize, but she was too preoccupied and seemed to be ignoring me.”
Several minutes after she said sorry to her roommate, her roommate rushed out the door to class. She went back to her bed and sat there, trying to figure out if it was really that mean of her to turn off her alarm, which caused her roommate to be late.
