She’s Refusing To Lend Her Wedding Dress To Her Sick Sister-In-Law

“I told Jane that I was sorry, but she needed to find her own dress. I reminded her that my dress was my mother’s and the veil was an heirloom that was passed on to my mom by my grandma. But Jane was having none of it,” she recalled.

Instead, Jane called her utterly selfish– even after she offered to help Jane find a dress at one of her friend’s boutiques. Then, Jane said it was only a small favor to ask and claimed to have no idea if the treatment would even work.

“Needless to say, our phone conversation did not end well,” she vented.

And even though June completely respected her decision, her future in-laws did not feel the same way. Instead, they have been texting her nonstop and asking her to reconsider.

So now, she does not want to mess up her good relationship with her in-laws. But, she also really does not want to lend her dress and veil to Jane and is not sure if that makes her a jerk.
