Some Guy Asked Her If He Could Take Her To A Hotel In Exchange For Buying Her Dinner

If she was already not put off by his statement, he proceeds to make it worse by clarifying what he means.

“It would be at a nice place,” he writes to her. “Not a no-tell motel.”

He emphasizes to her that this “deal” is only to be done on the condition of another dinner date.

Absolutely shaken by this text, Kim talks about how she had a completely different idea of what their standing was.

“We went to dinner, just a casual place,” Kim said. “I offered to pay my half. He declined and paid.”

Even if he feels as though she “owes” him the experience that he’s asking for, something very important came out of their first date that he didn’t pick up on.

“We had established during that meeting that he was not looking for a relationship,” Kim said. “And I was.”

For many, that would be signal enough to abandon the relationship, given that you do not have the same intentions.

“I said, ‘look, I don’t think we’re on the same page. Thank you very much for dinner; I appreciate it’,” Kim explained.

But for him, reaching out over text message demanding that she sleep with him if he buys her dinner again was all that mattered.

“He basically asked me, if I’m interpreting this correctly, to go to a hotel with him,” Kim said, her eyes wide with shock. “And I’m assuming, you know, sleep with him for dinner!”
