The Queen Really Loved Her Corgis, But What Will Happen To Her Four Beloved Furry Friends Now?

However, when her Majesty’s husband, Prince Philip, grew ill in early 2021, she was gifted two pups– a Corgi named Muick and a Dorgi named Fergus.

Fergus sadly passed away three months later. But then, Prince Andrew gave his mother another Corgi named Sandy– which brought her pooch count back to four.

But, now that the Queen has passed away, the dogs sadly will not understand the onslaught of newspaper articles, broadcasts, and crowds gathered outside their home. Instead, the Corgis will only know one thing– their beloved mom is no longer there.

Not to fear, though. The Queen’s Corgis were predominately looked after by two of her greatest friends.

“The Queen’s trusted dressmaker, assistant, and right-hand woman, Angela Kelly; and her equally trusted page of many years standing, Paul Whybrew, who was seen walking with the Queen and the dogs in the James Bond spoof,” wrote Penny Junor, author of the 2018 book All The Queen’s Corgis.

So, it is believed that the beloved pups will remain under the meticulous care of palace staff, at least for the time being.
