This 25-Year-Old Woman Was Supposed To Be Traveling In A Tractor-Trailer With Her Friend: But, The Truck Crashed, The Driver Died, And She Was Never Found At The Scene

“I’ll be on Horsey Road, Oak Hall,” Alyssa clarified.

“Okay. Is that down where I picked you up last time?” Danny asked.

“Yeah. What time can you come? So I know to be ready,” Alyssa replied.

“Be up there around 2 [p.m.]. The latest,” Danny said.

After Danny tragically died in the fiery crash, though, authorities found no evidence of a second person involved.

Still, it was not until four days later that Krista found out about the crash and Danny McNeal’s death. She had been traveling home to Orlando and was taken by complete surprise after seeing news of the accident and Danny’s obituary on Facebook.

And it was at that moment that the mother recalled how her daughter, Alyssa, was supposed to be in that truck. So, Krista altered her travel route and headed to Hillsborough to investigate herself.

She first located the tow company which had transported the truck’s wreckage and also visited the scene of the crash.

Krista was hoping to find clues that would put her mind at ease and reassure her that Alyssa was not involved. But, what she found did the total opposite.

While sifting through the burnt remains of Danny’s truck, Krista discovered her daughter’s blanket. The blanket used to be pink and covered in teddy bears. Now, it is covered in soot and dirt.

“We believe she was in that accident. Lyssa never ever went anywhere without that blanket,” recalled Alyssa’s cousin, Danielle.
