She was shocked that her fiancé said that, and she just looked down as her fiancé and April kept talking.
April shot back that her fiancé was not a true friend to Dale after all before informing him that if Dale was no longer invited to the wedding, she and her daughter would stop coming over to their house.
April then left.
“I tried to talk to my fiancé, but he was adamant that Dale was no longer his friend he said, “I’ve known Dale 7 years, and he goes after the one woman I swore to protect when we met,” she said.
“I understood where he was coming from, but it hurt knowing that this fight will ruin me seeing my grandbaby. My mother called me and berated me for allowing my husband to treat Dale like this she said, “I mean, Dale has always been there for you he even drove 7 hours to pick you up when you were stranded in Miami.” I shook my head and said I’m standing with my fiancé, and my mom said you are your father’s daughter never wanna give up even when you’re wrong, and she hung up.”
She’s left wondering if it was mean of her to back her fiancé instead of her daughter in this situation.
Do you think she should stop being involved and let April date whoever she wants since she is an adult?
